Dorothy Kleiber
Mayor
- Keep West St. Paul Affordable - Control spending, keep taxes low, and grow the commercial tax base. Council has cut the mill rate from 9.1 to 6.2 in the past four years-that is proven discipline. I would like to continue to examine every dollar, protect essential services including roads, policing, and fire protection while eliminating waste.
- Safe and Strong Infrastructure - Invest in roads, drainage, fire protection, community safety, and infrastructure that keeps pace with growth. As someone who has managed construction for 30 years, I know what quality infrastructure looks like and what poor planning costs. We need long term capital planning, maintenance that prevents emergency repairs, and roads that keep pace with growth.
- Plan for the Future - Prepare for growth with recreation, services, businesses, and infrastructure while ensuring growth pays its fair share.

- Responsible Growth: while protecting West St. Paul's rural character and quality of life.
- Infrastructure and Services: prioritizing roads, drainage, wastewater, snow clearing and public safety as our community grows.
- Fiscal Responsibility and Accountability: controlling spending while keeping tax pressure down and informing residents about their money and its uses.

IncumbentMayor
- Responsibility with your Tax Dollars: Continue yearly review of the services delivered to determine if there are any service gaps and ensure residents are receiving the best value for the services received.
- Public Safety & Crime Prevention: Support more investment in the Community Safety Program to mitigate both vehicle traffic concerns and criminal activity concerns that I have heard of these past few months.
- Municipal Infrastructure: Support investment in Recreation to support additional recreation programs for children for all ages, in Roads and Trails for opportunity to improve safety, and in Drainage to address some of the ditches with poor drainage.
